Draw a spline, apply the material, and you have a track. Optimized for rapid prototyping.

Spline Mapped

Procedural textures (Kerbs, Lines, Asphalt) automatically follow the curvature of your Unity Spline.

Non-Destructive

Adjust lane width, line counts, and curb colors in real-time without regenerating geometry.

Getting Started

Step 1: Setup

Ensure you have the "Splines" package installed from the Unity Package Manager. Create a new Spline object in your scene.

Step 2: Apply Shader

Add a 'Spline Extrude' component. Drag the QuickRoads material onto the mesh renderer. Tweak 'Tiling' to fit your track length.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this asset really free? +
Yes! Currently, this asset is 100% free. If you enjoy it, please leave a review on the Asset Store.
Do I need to UV unwrap my mesh? +
No. The shader uses procedural mapping based on the Spline data. You can stretch, bend, and loop the track without touching UVs.
Can I change the number of lanes? +
Yes. In the Material Inspector, look for the "Lane Count" or "Lines" property to adjust the markings instantly.
My texture looks stretched. How to fix? +
This usually happens on very long tracks. Increase the "Tiling Y" value in the Material properties until the asphalt grain looks correct.
How do I get support since it's free? +
Since this is a free tool, official support is limited. Please double-check the tutorial video above. If you find a critical bug, you can use the main support form and enter "FREE-LICENSE" in the Order ID field.
